Canelo set to publish three psychological thrillers from J.M. Hewitt

Commissioning editor Siân Heap has acquired World English Language rights to three new psychological thrillers by J.M. Hewitt from Laetitia Rutherford at Watson, Little.

If nobody knows who you really are, then can someone get away with your murder? In The Crew, Ella returns to working on the superyacht Ananke after a tragedy the previous summer where one of the deckhands, Ashley, died in an accident. Ashley was bright, capable and confident. Everyone on the crew is distraught after her death. But everything Ashley told them was a lie, and as the Ananke sets sail again, it becomes clear that nothing about last summer was what it seemed… 

J.M. Hewitt is the author of eight crime fiction novels. Her work has also been published in three short story anthologies. Her writing combines the complexity of human behaviour with often enchanting settings. In contrast to the sometimes dark content of her books, she lives a very nice life in a seaside town in Suffolk with her dog, Marley.
