Terror descends on the streets of London. Can more bloodshed be prevented by PC Lucy Halliday?
Good Friday. Two days before Easter a bomb explodes on Oxford Street. The force of the explosion brings down a building, trapping citizens under the rubble and the whole capital grinds to a halt. One of the biggest rescue operations Britain has ever known gets underway.
Teamed with her new explosive detection dog, Otto, PC Lucy Halliday is against the clock. The more noses they have to sniff out other potential bombs the better, but time is already running out. Meanwhile, DCI Jack Ellis is pulled on to the case too – his former experience in Counter Terrorism isn’t just a bonus now; it’s a necessity.
But even with all their skills and experience, can Jack and Lucy find the perpetrators and recover the survivors from the rubble before another bomb goes off?
