Louise Cullen is an editor with a background in commercial fiction. She has worked with authors including Cesca Major, Sanjida Kay, Carrie Elks and Michael Ridpath. At Canelo she is seeking women's fiction, crime/thriller and psychological suspense. Louise is Canelo’s Editorial Director.
Michael Bhaskar has worked on many acclaimed ebook, app and web projects including the app 80 Days and the series Ideas in Profile. He is also the author of The Content Machine and Curation: The power of selection in a world of excess. Michael is one of Canelo's co-founders and the Publishing Director.
Nick Barreto works where books and technology intersect. He’s managed and built apps, is an expert on ebook formats, metadata and workflows. He is committed to automating all the repetitive tasks to free up more time for the work that matters. Nick is one of Canelo's co-founders and the Technology Director.
Francesca Riccardi has worked in digital publishing for over ten years, starting off in the charity sector and moving in to trade in 2011. She has worked with authors including Holly Seddon, M. C. Beaton, Patrick Flanery and Cheryl Strayed and was a Bookseller Rising Star in 2017 for her work in digital sales. Francesca is Canelo's Sales and Marketing Director.
Felix Janosik is Canelo's Production Executive.
Micaela Cavaletto has a background in digital publishing, and she has worked in academic and trade sectors. She is passionate about ebooks, coding and new technologies. Micaela is Canelo’s Production Manager.
Kit Nevile is Canelo's Editorial Assistant, looking particularly at thrillers, horror, and action/adventure books. He has previous experience at Persephone Books and whitefox publishing services, both in an editorial role.
Siân Heap is Canelo's Editorial Assistant, looking particularly at saga, romance and crime books. She has previous experience at Hodder & Stoughton and ed public relations, and is also a former Waterstones bookseller.
Emily Bedford is Commissioning Editor at Canelo. She is looking to publish women’s fiction, with an eye on romance and historical fiction in particular. She has previously worked at Bloomsbury as well as Taylor & Francis in editorial roles.
Sophie Eminson is Canelo’s Marketing and Publicity Executive. She previously worked in academic publishing, and as a book blogger. Sophie has a passion for commercial fiction and helping readers discover new authors.
Claudine Sagoe is Canelo's Sales Assistant. She has previously worked in both Academic and Trade publishing and is looking forward to exploring more fiction genres across multiple platforms.
