Louise Cullen is an editor with a background in commercial fiction. She has worked with authors including Cesca Major, Sanjida Kay, Carrie Elks and Michael Ridpath. At Canelo she is seeking women's fiction, crime/thriller and psychological suspense. Louise is Canelo’s Editorial Director.
Michael Bhaskar has worked on many acclaimed ebook, app and web projects including the app 80 Days and the series Ideas in Profile. He is also the author of The Content Machine and Curation: The power of selection in a world of excess. Michael is one of Canelo's co-founders and the Publishing Director.
Nick Barreto works where books and technology intersect. He’s managed and built apps, is as an expert on ebook formats, metadata and workflows. He is involved with the W3C’s Digital Publishing Interest Group on bringing ebooks closer into the web. Nick is one of Canelo's co-founders and the Technology Director.
Francesca Riccardi has worked in digital publishing for ten years, starting off in the charity sector and moving in to trade in 2011. She has worked with authors including Holly Seddon, M. C. Beaton, Patrick Flanery and Cheryl Strayed and was a Bookseller Rising Star in 2017 for her work in digital sales. Francesca is Canelo's Head of Sales.
Ellie Pilcher has a background in blogging and social media, both personally and within publishing, and has experience working in multiple roles across the publishing industry. Ellie is Canelo’s Marketing & Publicity Executive.
