Trouble finding what you're looking for?
February 08, 2016
We’ve come a long way since our first month of publication, back when we only had three books. In fact, with so many titles out, our humble little Books page was getting a bit unwieldy. Not terribly so, as it does list the newest books first, but if you were looking for something specific, well, it isn’t the ideal way of browsing. Especially if you aren’t us, and don’t actually know off by heart what order we published our books in.
Anyway, with that in mind, we’re happy to unveil a shiny new section of our website, Categories. Now you can view all our books listed alphabetically, or only books in a specific genre, like Crime.
It’s taken a little bit of programming, but a lot more fervent discussion, as we decided which categories should be included and what books go where. The most important guiding principle, though, and what really helped decide the more contentions decisions is this: we want it to be useful.
What does that mean? Well, it means books do get listed in more than one category: so our two biographies are also under non-fiction, because that may be where you go looking for them. So we want categories to be specific and clearly define books. Empty categories are also not useful to anyone, so we will be adding more as we release new books.
Hopefully, you’ll find it a lot easier to find what you’re looking for now.
