We’d like to welcome the brilliant CJ Lyons to the Canelo list! CJ is an absolute phenomenon, a former paediatric ER doctor and now an indefatigable and quite brilliant writer. Writing ‘thrillers with heart’, CJ’s books are gripping and intense, but always filled with an rich emotional reality.
Across all editions her books have sold an extraordinary two million copies. CJ has done it all in publishing, working with traditional publishers and as a highly successful indie author. We’re thrilled be part of the next phase of her career.
We are working with CJ on her Lucy Guardino novels, re-issuing the Lucy Guardino FBI series and (in the UK and Commonwealth) publishing the next series, Beacon Falls. In Beacon Falls Lucy, a skilled, steel-nerved investigator and dedicated Mum, has left the FBI to investigate cold cases - investigations that everyone else has given up on. Before long this are spiralling out of control…

We’ll be relaunching the Lucy Guardino FBI novels at the end of March and the new Lucy Guardino Beacon Falls novel, Last Light, will publish on May 3rd.
