Canelo acquires two new novels from Poppy Dolan

Canelo is thrilled to announce the acquisition of two original novels by Poppy Dolan. The Bluebell Bunting Society will be published in March 2017 and tells the story of Connie Duncan, 29-year-old caretaker of Bluebell Hall. When developers threaten to tear down the hall and put Connie out of a job, she asks for the help of her friends in the village. They resolve to fight its closure by creating an enormous amount of bunting. The second novel, The Woolly Hat Knitting Club, will be published later in 2017.

Poppy Dolan has previously published two novels under the Novelicious imprint, The Bad Boyfriends Bootcamp and There’s More to Life than Cupcakes, both of which Canelo will reissue in February 2017.

Poppy Dolan is in her mid thirties and lives with her husband in Berkshire. She’s a near-obsessive baker and a keen crafter, so on a typical weekend can be found moving between the haberdashery and kitchenware floors of a department store, adding to her birthday wish list. She is the author of three novels: The Bad Boyfriends Bootcamp, There’s More to Life than Cupcakes and most recently The Bluebell Bunting Society. The Bad Boyfriends Bootcamp was in the Amazon top 100 bestseller chart, so clearly someone other than her mum must have read it. She’s currently working on her fourth novel – it’s about friends, siblings and crafty things – and drinking far too much tea.
