Canelo Crime swoops for two more ‘haunting and unforgettable’ crime thrillers by Morgan Greene

Commissioning Editor Kit Nevile has acquired World English language rights to two standalone upmarket crime thrillers by Morgan Greene from Ciara Finan at Curtis Brown, on behalf of Viola Hayden who is currently on parental leave.
Following on from the success of Savage Ridge – a Welsh Waterstones Book of the Month for April 2024 – and the hotly anticipated A Place Called Hope arriving in September 2024 – will come two more small town crime novels set in the American midwest, to delight fans of Chris Whitaker and S. A. Cosby. The Blood We Share sees a man framed by local police for the kidnap and murder of a young woman, leading him to uncover dark secrets hiding beneath the surface of his seemingly peaceful community.
And in No More Mercy, an idyllic town is rocked by the brutal assault and murder of a young boy, stirring up long buried trauma for the local, mild-mannered sheriff as he hunts the killer.
Morgan Greene is a Welsh author, and the creator of the bestselling Detective Jamie Johansson series. He currently lives in South Wales with his wife and utterly mad border collie.
