Canelo set to publish more Scottish romance from Nina Kaye

Editorial director Emily Bedford has acquired World English language rights to two new standalone romances by Nina Kaye from Kate Nash at Kate Nash Literary Agency Ltd in a two-book deal.
Just Like That and Stand Up Guy are both Tartan romcoms set in and around Edinburgh, written with Nina’s trademark humour and heart. Just Like That features a failing animal park in need of saving – enter Jess, an events manager whose life has just been turned upside down, and Nick, the head keeper who has no time for corporate suits.Through misunderstandings, interfering employees and the arrival of Rana the baby sun bear, Jess and Nick might just be able to work together to save the park…
Nina Kaye is a contemporary romance author who writes warm, witty and uplifting reads with a deeper edge. She lives in Edinburgh with her husband and much adored side-kick, James. Nina has been a contender for the RNA Joan Hessayson Award and has previously published The Gin Lover’s Guide to Dating, One Night in Edinburgh and Take A Moment, which was inspired by her own neurological illness.
