Canelo have acquired five new Cornish romances by Cass Grafton.

Editorial director Emily Bedford has acquired World English language rights to a new cosy romance series by Cass Grafton in a five-book deal. 

The Little Cornish Cove series kicks off with New Dreams at Polkerran Point, in which a surprise inheritance from her aunt Meg opens up exciting opportunities at just the right time for Anna. With plans to turn her new cottage into a B&B, a shock discovery reveals she’s living a dream that isn’t really hers to hold. Can Anna rescue the new life she’s made for herself? Who in Polkerran can she really count on in her time of need?

A bit of a nomad, Cass has called three countries home, as well as six different English counties, but her aspiration is to one day reunite with her beloved West Country. In the meantime, she writes feel-good contemporary romances set in Cornwall and, in doing so, manages to live there vicariously through her characters and settings. An Ambassador for the Jane Austen Literacy Foundation, Cass is also a member of the Romantic Novelists’ Association, the Jane Austen Society UK and the Society of Authors.

Emily Bedford says: ‘I am delighted to be working with Cass once more, this time on a contemporary romance series. She has such a knack for writing relatable and witty heroines – I fell in love with Anna from the very first page.
